Overview
More CPU. More I/O. More Application Flexibility.
The AP510 is a modular industrial PC for factory automation, machine vision, production line control, and data acquisition. Choose your Intel 10th/11th generation Core processor (i3, i5, i7, or i9), then pair it with one of the 11 expansion cards to build the exact I/O your application needs. Everything ships as a complete configured unit.
Active Fan Cooling
The embedded fan handles sustained 65W CPU loads. The aluminium-magnesium chassis provides secondary heat dissipation, keeping the unit reliable.
Network Connectivity
Two Gigabit Ethernet ports come standard on the base unit. Add expansion cards to expand to 4 or 8 ports for OT/IT network segmentation.
Serial & Legacy Support
RS232 and RS485 ports connect PLCs, sensors, flow meters, and industrial instruments directly without intermediaries.
Wireless Connectivity
Mini-PCIe expansion slot supports Wi-Fi, 4G, or 5G for remote locations without wired connectivity.
Power Input
DC 12–24V with ±10% tolerance, overcurrent and reverse-polarity protection. Supports up to 300W peak draw with PoE expansion cards.

Key Features
What Makes the AP510 Different
Industrial-grade hardware in a compact, fan-cooled package.
Dual Gigabit Ethernet
Two independent Intel GbE LAN ports on the base unit. Expandable to 4 or 8 ports via I/O expansion card.
VGA + HDMI
VGA at 1920×1200 and HDMI at 4K 60Hz. Run two displays simultaneously for a HMI panel plus status screen.
Serial Port Access
RS232 + RS485 built in. Connect PLCs, barcode scanners, sensors, and legacy industrial devices directly.
Wireless Ready
Mini-PCIe slot with SIM holder. Add Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, or 5G for remote and unmanned sites.
Wide Voltage Input
DC 12–24V with protection. Runs from standard industrial power, vehicle batteries, or solar installations.
Vibration & Shock Tested
20G shock, IEC60068 vibration rated. CE and FCC Class A certified for industrial deployment.
Reliability
Built to Run. Built to Last.
Active fan cooling handles the sustained high-CPU workloads that a fanless unit cannot. The embedded fan is rated for industrial environments, and the aluminium-magnesium chassis acts as a secondary heatsink. Built for 24/7 operation in factory conditions without thermal throttling.
Environmental Testing
IEC60068 certified. Every unit factory-tested and verified before shipping to your site.
Shock Rated
20G half-sine, 11ms impact. Survives the bumps, vibrations, and harsh handling of industrial deployment.
Vibration Resistant
Sinusoidal and random vibration per IEC60068-2-6. Stays stable on shaking machinery and mobile platforms.
Thermal Range
–20 to 60°C operating, –40 to 80°C storage. Works in freezing outdoor cabinets and hot factory floors without derating.
Industrial Reliability
The AP510 fan assembly is selected for industrial longevity. Combined with SSD storage, DC power input with overcurrent and reverse-polarity protection, and a robust aluminium chassis, it is designed to outlast the equipment around it. Active cooling also means you get full CPU performance in temperatures up to 60°C, where fanless systems often throttle.
Use Cases
Built for Real-World Automation
See how AP510 configurations solve specific industrial challenges, from machine vision to remote SCADA, each use case pairs the right expansion card with a real deployment scenario.
Run multi-camera machine vision inspection with the AP510. PoE variants power cameras directly from the PC. One power source, one cable run per camera. Strobe outputs synchronise lighting to camera triggers for clean captures at production line speed.
Direct Camera Connect
PoE ports power and connect GigE Vision cameras without separate switches or power injectors.
Strobe Sync
Four PWM-controlled strobe outputs. Synchronise lighting exposure to camera trigger for motion-blur-free imaging.
Reject I/O
Isolated digital outputs trigger reject gates, pneumatic actuators, and alarm signals from inspection results.
Run a production line with the AP510 handling I/O, comms, and HMI in a single unit. PoE ports power field devices directly. Isolated DIO interfaces with conveyors, reject systems, and interlocking.
Dual Display
VGA at 1920×1200 and HDMI at 4K 60Hz simultaneously. HMI panel plus monitoring screen.
Any HMI Software
Standard x86 runs AVEVA, Ignition, WinCC, or browser-based dashboards. No lock-in.
Field Power
PoE expansion powers cameras and sensors directly. One cable run per device.
Line sequencing · Conveyor control · Pick-and-place · Reject systems · HMI panels · Data logging
Modbus RTU to TCP/IP · Legacy PLC connectivity · CAN bus to OPC-UA · Multi-drop RS485 · Remote SCADA
AGV & Robotics Control
CAN bus expansion connects the AP510 directly to motor controllers, LIDAR sensors, and safety systems on automated guided vehicles and robotic platforms.
CAN 2.0 A/B
Two CAN bus ports connect motor controllers, LIDAR, safety PLCs, and vehicle subsystems.
USB Peripherals
Four USB ports for LIDAR, IMU, barcode scanners, and navigation sensors.
Isolated DIO
8DI/8DO with isolation. Emergency stop, bumper switches, safety interlocks.
