About the Range
What is the OP Series?
The OP Series are arm-mounted HMI operator panels built to pair with the AP Series automation PCs. HDMI and VGA signal input connects directly to your host PC. A USB cable handles touch communication. DC 12–24V runs from cabinet power.
The enclosure is full IP65, front and rear sealed against dust and water. The swing arm mounts from the top or bottom rail and positions the screen where the operator needs it.
Modular Button Area
Below the screen sits a hard-wired button array. Emergency stop, key switch, selector and push buttons are configured to your specification. The layout can be changed from the front without disassembly.
Four Sizes, Two Resolutions
15″, 15.6″, 18.5″ and 21.5″ panels. Two resolution options at 15.6″ and 18.5″ sizes: WXGA (1366×768) or Full HD (1920×1080).

Machine Operator Stations
The OP Series sits at the point of operation, where operators interact with the machine. Full IP65 sealing means fluids, swarf, and cleaning agents do not cause problems. The swing arm puts the screen exactly where it needs to be, and modular buttons handle E-stop and machine state changes without going through the touchscreen.
Capacitive Multi-Touch
Responsive touch through gloves and protective films. 87% transmittance for clear visuals.
Hard-Wired Safety Buttons
Emergency stop and key switch wired direct to safety circuits, not through touchscreen software.
Repositionable Mount
Swing arm adjusts for shift changes, different operator heights, and reach to the work area.
Best suited: CNC operator stations, press machine HMIs, packaging machine controls, custom automation cells.
Control Cabinet Interfaces
Mount the OP Series directly to a cabinet door or onto a supporting arm. HDMI runs straight from the AP Series PC inside the cabinet. A USB cable handles touch input. DC power feeds from the cabinet rail. No mains socket required at the panel.
Direct Cabinet Pairing
HDMI plus VGA signal input pairs directly with AP Series automation PCs in the same cabinet.
Cabinet Power Native
DC 12–24V input runs straight from the 24V rail. No transformer or extra PSU needed.
No Special Cabling
Standard HDMI, VGA and USB. Off-the-shelf cables, no proprietary connectors or adapters.
Best suited: Production cells, packaging lines, machine cabinets, retrofitted control systems.
Assembly Line HMI
Real-time process data, quality check results, recipe selection. Operators confirm steps, flag rejects, and call for assistance without leaving position. Multi-touch handles complex HMI screens. Hard-wired buttons handle the actions that need to happen fast.

OP121 supports up to 9 Ø22 hard-wired buttons. Configure for confirm, reject, assist, line stop.
Wide Viewing Angles
Up to 89° viewing angle on top models. Operators see the screen clearly from any working position.
High Brightness
Up to 400 cd/m² on the smaller panels. Readable under direct overhead lighting.
Best suited: Assembly stations, quality inspection terminals, recipe selection, production reporting.
Washdown Environments
Food, beverage, and pharmaceutical production. Full IP65 front and rear means the panel handles cleaning agents, high-pressure rinse, and humidity without complaint. No exposed connectors at the front. The sealed button area keeps corrosive cleaners out of the switch contacts.

Mobile Operator Consoles
The swing arm repositions for different operators or working positions throughout the shift. Cable routing through the arm keeps the workspace clear. The arm-mount design lets one panel serve multiple zones around a machine, instead of fixing the screen to one spot the operator has to walk to.
NODKA 4460 Compatible
Drops onto NODKA 4460 square tube swing arms. Top or bottom mount.
Rittal CP 40 Compatible
Also fits Rittal CP 40 systems. Standard industrial mount, not a custom bracket.
Routed Cabling
HDMI, USB and DC power route through the arm. No exposed cables at operator height.

Our Story
From Vehicle Systems to Industrial Automation
In-CarPC was founded in 2006 to build rugged computers for vehicles. Nearly two decades later, we’ve shipped thousands of systems to customers including Jaguar Land Rover, Volvo Construction Equipment, Manchester Airport, Serco, and the UK Ministry of Defence.
In 2014 we joined Bowmonk Ltd, a family company with over 50 years in vehicle testing equipment. That partnership gave us engineering depth, production capacity, and a global platform to grow.
The OP Series extends what we have built. We take everything we learned making reliable, configured-to-order hardware for harsh environments and apply it to industrial automation. Same engineering team. Same Norwich production facility. Same attention to detail on every unit.
