Do I need an IT person to set it up?
No. DuroBox arrives pre-configured. Plug in power, screen, and network, and you are ready. Our remote technician handles Bowmonk software setup, DVSA keys, and equipment pairing after delivery.
Will it work with my existing MOT equipment?
Yes. DuroBox is compatible with Bowmonk BrakeCheck and Tapley equipment. Our technician pairs your devices remotely after delivery. If you have questions about specific equipment, call us before ordering.
What if my Wi-Fi signal is weak?
We include industrial-grade antennas designed for workshop environments with thick walls and metal ramps. If wireless still struggles, use one of the three built-in 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports instead.
What about Windows updates?
Windows 11 Pro lets you defer updates so they do not interrupt testing. We configure this before shipping so updates happen outside working hours.
Can I use it for more than MOT testing?
Yes. DuroBox runs standard Windows 11 Pro. Use it for invoicing, parts ordering, email, web browsing, and any other admin alongside MOT testing. Three HDMI outputs let you run up to three screens if needed.
What warranty do I get?
Every DuroBox comes with a 2 year return-to-base warranty as standard. You can extend this to 3 or 5 years at purchase. Support is direct from our Norwich office by phone and email.
